Pantene Airspray

IMG_6361I was sent a free sample of Pantene’s new alcohol free hair spray by Influenster to see if all that Pantene claims about their hair spray is true. I have had it for almost a month now and can honestly say that they have themselves a new customer. I previously used Garnier hairspray in a light hold to avoid the crunch left behind with some heavier holding spray. Although I will continue to use Pantene’s new hairspray I don’t think that their claim of giving you”touchably soft hair” and the ability to run your hair through your hands without feeling that typical stiff and crunchy feeling is entirelyyyyy accurate. It was however, better than most I have used in that department and my hair did seem to become softer feeling as the day went on, while still keeping  my curls in place. I also put it to the the test when my bed head top knot bun had one too many flyaway. It was able to keep my flyaway down around my hair line without leaving me looking like a greasy, stiff mess. My hair is typically VERY VERY straight on its own and it can take an entire bottle of hairspray and a small army to get my hair not only to curl but also stay in place. Pantene airspray kept my hair in all day and I was even able to roll out of bed and into work the next day with my curls still intact (major bonus). Not only did it stay in place all day but the smell of the airspray is much more pleasant than I have experienced in the past which is HUGE for me. After all who wants your entire face to be surrounded for the day by some foul smelling chemical mix that leaves you with a headache.
