I was browsing through the Abercrombie new arrivals this week when I stumbled upon my favorite dress of theirs that I purchased last fall! When you think of Abercrombie you may think of the store you shopped in freshman year of high school but they have had a serious redesign and I’ve found myself becoming a regular once again. There’s no more large moose logo on every piece of clothing and you don’t have to be going through puberty to shop there. There is definitely still some of the classics but they now have so many other options that are appropriate for an older age group. This dress has been restocked for the start of the fall season and is perfect for a day around town or a night out, the leather makes it super trendy right now but also seems to never go out of style. There is a thin leather trim around the neck and arms of the dress which is subtle but adds a lot to the overall appearance of the dress and ties in the bottom.
I’m wearing an xs and if you are concerned about length definitely size up because of the stiffer leather bottom. If you are going to be leaning over or reaching down quite a lot this would not be the dress for that occasion. When standing and walking around the leather bottom helps keep the dress down and does not feel short but because of where the leather ends you do have to be cautious when you bend over. That being said I’m very tall for being an xs and have longer legs compared to my torso size so this could just be a problem that frequently occurs for me.
I am so sad that these shoes are sold out because they are my favorite shoe I think I’ve ever bought which is saying something because I own a lot of shoes as my boyfriend reminds almost everyday when he fights for space in our closet. I’ve linked a few other styles that have a similar look to them and other pairs that I own and would pair with this dress.
My bag however is very much in stock since I purchased it this week and LOVE it. I decided that I deserved to splurge on a handbag but I was pleasantly surprised with the pricing of Rebecca Minkoff bags which seemed to run at half the price compared to a similarly sized coach bag which I also fell in love with and will link just incase we have some diehard Coach fans. My new Rebecca Minkoff purse fits my large Kate Spade wallet and still has plenty of room for my phone, Epipens (because I’m allergic to life), lipstick and other necessities for the day.
My watch is the same watch I wear almost everyday and goes with everything. I find myself mostly wearing silver but Kate Spade recently came out with a silver and gold combo that would be great for those who go back and forth or like to combine the two on a regular basis.
